This period Cottage, which is thought to have once been a Quarry- man`s Cottage, has been recently and lovingly upgraded with all modern facilities. Located on the outskirts of Newport, the main town central to the Isle of Wight, easily accessible by car or a short walk are many shops, restaurants, bars and multiplex cinema etc.
The Newport to Sandown cycle path which was once a railway track is on your doorstep.

WARM UP
In the cooler months, wrap up warm and take a walk along the Island's 500 miles of footpaths, one of which is opposite the cottage and goes all the way along to Sandown, a beautiful county walk. When you return, light up the multi-burner, kick off your walking boots and warm up with a snuggle on the sofa before cooking dinner in the well equipped kitchen. Heading to bed for a great nights sleep will be a joy in the Master bedroom as the superking ize bed will give you plenty of space to spread or cuddle up.
EXPLORING THE ISLAND
The Island's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is just a short distance away by car, bus or bicycle, and the stunning coastal scenery offers a varied choice for walkers, cyclists and for outdoor pursuits enthusiasts there is riding, fishing, cycling, water sports and golf. The Island can be explored from the open-top buses that stop regularly at various collection points. English Heritage's Carisbrooke Castle and Osbourne House are a short distance away, as is Brading Roman Villa, The Steam Railway, Dinosaur Isle, and the activity parks at Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill Country Park.
